| Good evening members of the Board and Chair Watters.
Good Evening President Browning. I am David Fishbaugh and am speaking on behalf of the League of Women Voters of Fremont, Newark and Union City. The League of Women Voters of California was one of the major sponsors of the redistricting bill and the ensuing open process. As a local League we have seen the mixed results for our three cities, Fremont, Newark and Union City. The League anticipates many questions from the public about all of the changes in the many boards that are required to go through this process. We hope that the process here tonight for Ohlone’s redistricting will focus on the needs of the voters. The voters will face many changes in the upcoming elections. We encourage you to make your decisions based on making the new redistricting lines as clear and simple as possible. Thank you.
